Renting bicycles from us is easy!

Whilst we prefer bookings to be completed on-line, we understand that sometimes its best to just have a chat to an expert. If you are unsure of what bike will best suit your needs please give one of our friendly staff a call and we can point you in the right direction. Finalise your booking online, and we will send you all the rest of the information you need to have a fast and smooth pick-up.  

The minimum age for riders is 12 Years old (due to bicycle sizing restrictions). Any riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present during the entire hire period. 

You will be required to sign an indemnity waiver for all participants. Riders under 18 years old will need a parent or guardian to sign for them. 

All riders will need some form of Identification (Passport, ID card, or Drivers license) to hire an e-bike. All riders under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied with a parent or guardian for the period of hire. 

If you wish to hire an E-Mountain bike from us there are a few mandatory items that you must either bring along, or hire from us to participate on the day.  

All riders must wear either an open face, or full face helmet. Our staff have the right to inspect your helmet upon collection to ensure it is up to current safety standards, and it is going to do its job correctly. If you have purchased it in the past 5 years, and it has an Australian standards sticker inside then you have nothing to worry about.  If you do not have a helmet you will need to hire one, or purchase one from us. 

If you have not opted for our drop off/pick up service to get you to the trails, you will need to ensure you can either fit the bikes in your vehicle, or you have an E-bike rated bike rack to transport the e-bikes. If you do not have an e-bike rated rack, and wish to transport the bikes yourself you may hire a bike rack from us. 

Our City style E-bikes are supplied with a helmet on the day, but if you have your own you are most welcome to bring it. 

Whilst there is nothing else essential to hire a bike from us, we do recommend bringing along a water bottle, some sunglasses to protect your eyes, and sunscreen.  

For E-Mountain bike hire, we can help with a drop off service to the trail head, and collection at the end of the day. This must be arranged via phone call, and may not be able to be offered on all days. 

If you have not opted for our drop off service to get you to the trails, you will need to ensure you can either fit the bikes in the vehicle, or you have an E-bike rated rack to transport the bikes.

If you do not have an e-bike rated rack, and wish to transport the bikes yourself, you may hire a bike rack from us. We have Hitch, and tow ball options for 2 bike's. The trails are a short 15 min drive from the shop. 

Your final option is a 25 min ride (approx) to the nearest trails. This is certainly do-able, however keep in mind it will eat into your trail time, and battery range.

Expression E + is a city style e-bike for cruising around town and along the cycle ways. Expression E + bikes  are best suited to people who prefer a low stand over height. These bikes will fit riders up to 175cm tall. 

Talon E + is a hardtail e- mountain bike for cruising around town, along the cycle ways, or light off-road use (such as fire trails, rail trails or grass tracks). These bikes are available in a full size range to suit all heights.

Tempt E + is a hardtail e- mountain bike for cruising around town, along the cycle ways, or light off-road use (such as fire trails, rail trails or grass tracks). These bikes are suited to women and teens under 165cm tall. 

Embolden E + is best suited to trail riding along the Illawarra escarpment. This bicycle is only available in smaller sizes for small teens, and women. Suited to riders under 165cm tall. 

Trance E + is best suited to trail riding along the Illawarra escarpment. This model is suited to people to enjoy the up and much as they enjoy the down. This model is available in size medium and large (rider height 170-182 tall)

Reign E ** + is best suited to trail riding along the Illawarra escarpment. the Reign is the ultimate bike for tackling our local trails. Available in a full size range to suit riders from 165cm tall to 190cm tall.  ** please be patient while we refresh our fleet! some sizes are currently unavailable as we await the new range. 

City E-bikes: 

Rider height 150-165cm:  Choose the Tempt E + XS or Expression Small. 

Rider height 165 - 175cm - Choose Talon E + small or Expression E + Small or Medium

Rider height 175 - 178cm:  Choose Talon E + Medium or Large or Expression E + Medium

Rider height 178-190cm: Choose Talon E + Large or XL

E-Mountain bikes: 

Rider height 150 - 160cm: Choose Tempt E + XS or Intrigue E+  EL XS

Rider height 160 - 170cm (female/youth): choose Intrigue EL + Small 

Rider height 163 - 170cm: Choose Intrigue EL + or Reign E + Small

Rider height 170 - 178cm: Choose Trance E + Medium, or Reign E + Medium

Rider height 178 - 185cm: Choose Trance X E + or Reign E + Large

Rider height 183-190cm: Choose Reign E + XL 

We have an extensive range of maps available on collection of your hire e-bike. 

For city style e-bikes we estimate a range of up to 65km per charge. You may be able to get longer, but this estimate will allow you to still use full power mode as required. Our most popular cycling route on our City style E-bikes is along the coastal cycle ways. There is plenty to see, eat and drink along the way so pack the picnic blanket and beach towel! These bikes can be ridden out the door. No need to drive somewhere to start your ride. 

For those looking to go Mountain bike riding, the Illawarra Escarpment Mountain Bike Network offers sustainable mountain biking in the Wollongong area. The trails cater for riders of all ages and skill levels. The Kembla mountain bike trails are open! Explore 20km of state of the art MTB trails within 15 minutes of the store, and the beach!

Cringilla mountain bike park is a good option for junior and beginner mountain bikers. 

A visit to our friends at Greenvalley's MTB park will not will not disappoint. 

Trail maps will be available on collection of the bike, but most of our local trails are within a 15-20min drive from the store. Please note that our E-mountain bikes are only permitted for use on a legal trail network.
